With news that the Scorpion Engine now supports loading assets in and out of memory this opens up new possibilities for the continuation of this project..
As previously posted I was struggling with memory constraints to support even some of the basic stuff like weapons and throwing objects.
I’m yet to test out the new version, but the signs are promising.
Regarding time working on the project, yes I started this when I had lots of free time, since then I now have multiple game projects on the go for mobile/PS5 and 2 young children to bring up. So time is tight, but this news has given me incentive to try and find some time to see if I can get it moving again.
